القراءة عملية معرفية مركبة من الرموز والحروف بغرض بناء المعنى، وهي وسيلة لاكتساب اللغة، التواصل، ومشاركة المعلومات والأفكار. وتعتبر القراءة  من أهمّ أنواع الوسائل التي تُسهم بشكلٍ كبيرٍ في التواصل بين الفرد والمجتمع، وعندما يتعلم الطلاب الاستمتاع بالقراءة يصبح التعلم ذا صلة، وتتحسن قدرتهم على القراءة.

This short course was designed to provide you with the tools and skills you need to take full advantage of the innovation program. These weeks you learned a little about Moodle, checked to be sure that you have the computer software and plug-ins needed to complete assignments and share ideas with your fellow learners, learned to use the basic Moodle tools, created an expanded personal profile, and uploaded a personal photograph.

Innovations are critical for public libraries, many libraries have developed and implemented services and projects that are innovative, demonstrating the enthusiasm public libraries have for constantly evolving their services to meet the demands of today's changing world , this was obvious especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. This program is conducted in partnership between IFLA CPDWL & Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (AFLI). The program implements online activities designed to help participants to become future innovative librarians.
